TURNING STOCKLOTS INTO OPPORTUNITIES

Holland Industries was established in 1965 in Tilburg, the Netherlands.

From the beginning, our company has been active in the international trade of coated fabrics, textiles and shoe-related materials. Over the years, we have built strong experience in the international trade of stocklots, raw materials and components for the shoe and textile industries.

In the 1970s and 1980s, Eastern Europe became an important export market for Holland Industries. We developed long-standing relationships with distributors, manufacturers and buyers in the region, supplying materials for the footwear, textile and technical textile industries.

At the end of the 1980s, our trading landscape changed. Existing structures shifted and markets opened up. For Holland Industries, this was a turning point.

1965
Founded in The Netherlands as a textile trading company
1980s
Expanded into footwear materials and coated fabrics
2000s
Built expanded network across Europe, Africa and The Middle East
Today
Active in 70+ countries and continuously looking for new import and export markets

Rather than relying on one region, we expanded our focus and started developing new markets. Africa, the Middle East, Europe and other international regions became increasingly important in our trading network.

This ability to adapt has shaped who we are today.

Stocklot trading depends on timing, clarity and reliable handling.

At Holland Industries, logistics is an important part of how we turn stocklots into opportunities. From our warehouses in the Netherlands, we inspect, prepare and supply stocklots to buyers in markets worldwide.

Depending on the available goods and the buyer’s requirements, we can supply different volumes, from pallet quantities to full truckloads and container loads. This flexibility allows us to serve buyers looking for specific quantities as well as customers working with larger volumes. Goods can often be inspected before purchase, helping buyers assess quality, quantity, colour, finish and suitability for their intended market or application.

Sustainability

Creating value from surplus stock

Responsible stocklot trading starts with making better use of materials that already exist.

Every surplus lot represents value that has already been produced. By connecting stocklots, second-choice and off-spec materials with suitable markets, Holland Industries helps extend material value, reduce unnecessary waste and give surplus stock a new commercial route to market.
